1st pic : too dark.. low contrast.. sepia? i dun see sepia... i see low saturation pic.. why u go and burn the lower part? too much burnin.. it's like subjectless.. dun burn/blur ur subject.. hmm.. this one not so good..
2nd pic : Good contrast.. But i suggest, nx time u adjust the contrast slightly lower.. too much cropin.. the size is too small for an image.. need to learn more.. improve more.. something wrong in this pic.. but i cant figure out the probs.. hey,i'm a beginner too!
Overall, from my point of view, good try. =)
